Sloan-Days-of-Our-Lives

Now that the truth has come to light, the hunt for Sloan is so on! Days of Our Lives may have sent her running without a word, but her story is far from being over. After being forced to blurt out to Eric and hand over baby Jude, Sloan did something Eric didn’t want her to. The lady packed her bags and fled the town. Viewers were convinced that it was going to be the end of her tale on the soap streaming on Peacock. But that isn’t the case, as Sloan is about to return!

Days of Our Lives: Sloan’s Last Dance Takes Everyone by Surprise

Days of Our Lives character Sloan is gearing up to make a dramatic return to Salem. According to previews and spoilers, she’ll be back for one last epic showdown with Nicole. But here’s the kicker! The episode featuring Sloan’s return will be the first head writer Ron Carlivati has penned since his return. Due to the WGA strike, other writers had to fill in for Ron, leaving his work unused.

Now, Ron’s work material of Days of Our Lives has started airing again! However, this wasn’t the original plan. Carlivati spoke with TVInsider about what to expect when his writing team resumed control. The head writer mentioned that the baby reveal had already begun before they got back. “I didn’t get to play it all, but the part with Eric finding out he’s the dad, I got to do.”

And there’s no need to fret as Ron only wrote the highly anticipated moment when Sloan confronts Nicole. Carlivati took a dig at the American Soap for allowing Sloan to exit the canvas without confronting Nicole. “Which I thought was nuts,” Ron added. Let’s face it, the choice to remove the showdown between Sloan and Nicole could have been a disappointment.

But luckily, Carlivati and his team returned to Days of Our Lives just in time to ensure it didn’t end that way! Now, Sloan might still exit the canvas, but at least she won’t vanish without a trace. It will make more sense, especially once Eric catches her trying to flee in the upcoming episode. So, what do you think? Should Sloan be thrown into prison, or should she manage to get away?

Stay tuned to see how this thrilling chapter unfolds!
