Days of Our Lives Recap: Friday, May 31 – Melinda Arrested – Nicole Smacks Sloan – Bobby & Jada’s Encounter

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, May 31, reveals that Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) stopped by Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) office to get some advice ahead of Everett Lynch aka Robert “Bobby” Stein’s (Blake Berris) intervention.

Marlena indeed offered guidance and pointed out that she’d be nearby in case Stephanie and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) needed backup.

Meanwhile, Everett aka Bobby dreamed that Jada found him in the shower and told him about a horrible dream of her own.

Jada insisted Bobby thought he was Everett and this went on for months, but Bobby said she didn’t have to worry about that now and kissed her passionately.

When Stephanie appeared in the dream and confronted the pair, Everett woke up startled and eventually answered the door to Jada.

Stephanie followed moments later, so Everett assumed the timing wasn’t a coincidence.

Jada and Stephanie admitted they were there because Marlena suspected he had dissociative identity disorder, but Everett insisted his memory problems were because of his car accident injuries and became irate.

Stephanie and Jada insisted Everett had past trauma that needed to be dealt with, but Bobby resurfaced and said Everett didn’t need to know about any of that since he was there to protect him.

Bobby also claimed he was still married to Jada since Everett was the one who signed the divorce papers, which left Jada unnerved.

Jada questioned why Bobby still wanted to be married to her, but he argued that they were so good together.

Stephanie tried to get through to Everett since she knew he was still in there somewhere, but Bobby fought Everett off and shouted for Stephanie to leave along with Jada.

At the DiMera mansion, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) talked to Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) about needing to pick out a new name for Jude Brady (Oliver McLarty).

Nicole thought Jude was cute and pointed out that he was used to it, but she eventually relented since EJ was adamant about this.

After EJ left with the baby in the stroller, he bumped into Marlena in front of the pub.

Marlena seemed sad as she greeted Jude, but she assured EJ that she was happy for him and got his gratitude for being so gracious about all this.

Next on Friday’s Days episode, Marlena joined Jada and Stephanie for Everett’s intervention.

Bobby collapsed with a headache as his agitation boiled over, so Marlena tried to keep him calm as he rested in the aftermath.

Although Bobby finally agreed to head to the hospital for treatment, he muttered about never letting Everett back out and left Stephanie worried she’d never see Everett again.

After Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) got rid of an inquisitive Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), she patted herself on the back.

Melinda was relieved over convincing Rafe she had no motive to help Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty) and that she hadn’t been involved in the Jude handoff at all.

In the town square on Friday’s Days episode, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) confronted Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) about his role in keeping the Jude secret quiet.

Eric manhandled Leo and grilled him about Sloan’s whereabouts, but Leo swore he had no idea where she was.

Once Rafe interrupted, Eric pushed Leo to get out of his sight.

Leo bolted before Rafe spoke to Eric about Melinda’s story, which Eric quickly disagreed with since Melinda had been the one to drop off Jude and was definitely involved.

Leo stopped by Melinda’s office to worry about the cops coming for him, but Melinda downplayed that possibility since she already got Rafe to back off.

Once Leo was gone, Rafe showed back up to gloat about the proof of Melinda’s phony adoption involvement and announced that she was under arrest!

Leo also caught up with EJ outside the pub, where he admitted he’d been thinking about their earlier arrangement and how it didn’t make sense.

It was odd for EJ to buy Leo’s silence and bury the fact that his kid with Nicole was alive, so Leo knew there was more to the baby switch story.

Back at the DiMera mansion on Friday’s DOOL show, Nicole was stunned when Sloan popped up after sneaking in.

Sloan wanted Nicole to know she didn’t plan to steal the baby and seemed apologetic, but Nicole flew into a rage and made a prediction about Sloan’s downfall.

After Nicole smacked Sloan in the face, she made it clear that Sloan deserved that and more.

Nicole ranted about Sloan robbing her of six months of Jude’s life and complained about Sloan acting like she was a lunatic for thinking Jude was hers.

Furthermore, Sloan made Nicole grovel for forgiveness after she kidnapped Jude due to Sloan’s negligence in the town square.

Nicole wondered what kind of person did all that, so Sloan fired back about Nicole being a hypocrite since she passed off Sydney DiMera as her own once upon a time.

Nicole didn’t care what Sloan thought of her and picked up the phone to call the cops, so Sloan headed for the door on Friday’s Days episode – only to find Eric standing in her path.
