Young & Restless’ Tracey E. Bregman Celebrates Her Birthday After a Scary Week Reminding Her ‘How Fragile Life Can Be’

Life is full of ups and downs, but sometimes, they can come at us so fast, we can’t help but get whiplash. We have a feeling that’s how The Young and the Restless‘ Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren) felt after a week of scares and joy.

The actress took to Instagram on her birthday to celebrate with a loving and grateful message — but there was a catch. “This is 61,” she wrote. “I’m so grateful to be in Nashville celebrating with my family surrounding me. Life is wonderful and full of twists and turns and is so delicate as well. The last week certainly showed that to me as my mother had strokes.”

Thankfully, her mom (actress Suzanne Lloyd, who even made a special appearance on Young & Restless back in 2017) will be OK. “But it is truly a reminder of how lucky and fragile life can be,” Bregman continued. “I’ve always said, it’s not what happens to you that defines you, it’s what you do from that moment on that does.”

“Today,” she continued, “my heart expands with love and gratitude and to all the family and friends, who continually show up and have a seat at my table. You all make me a better person, mom, step mom, daughter and girlfriend and friend. I love you from the depths of my heart.”

We’re thrilled that Bregman’s mom is doing OK after her health scares and glad that the Young & Restless star was able to celebrate her birthday surrounded by love and joy. As she said, life is full of twists and turns, and sometimes, they can even give those on daytime a run for their money.
