Days of Our Lives Thursday, May 30 Recap: Lucas’ Bear Spray Stops Goldman – Harris Chases New Suspect

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, May 30, reveals that Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) was the only customer in The Bistro, so she teased Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) about that as he made excuses.

Since Theresa had been on the hunt for a job and Stefan needed a new manager, he wondered if she’d be interested.

Theresa admitted she would’ve been up until recently, but now she was back together with rich Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and didn’t really need to work.

Meanwhile, Alex canoodled in bed with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), who wondered if he came straight from Theresa’s bed this morning.

When Alex asked if that would bother Kristen, she said maybe – though she didn’t really seem to mean it based on her sly smile.

Alex handed over an expensive bracelet to make up for it before realizing he was late for an appointment.

Once Alex made it to Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) office, he apologized for his late arrival and for canceling their sessions the last few times.

Alex wound up admitting that although he was sort of back together with Theresa and had moved her into the Kiriakis mansion, he was also still seeing Kristen.

Marlena suggested Theresa might be expecting a certain level of commitment based on living together and thought Alex needed to get honest so they could make sure they were on the same page.

Next on Thursday’s Days episode, Alex came clean to Theresa about his continued involvement with Kristen and made it clear that he wasn’t looking to make any big commitment right now.

Alex wanted to clarify things since they’d had that whole engagement ring debacle before.

Theresa was taken aback and clearly unhappy, but she played it like they were just having fun and confirmed it was an open relationship before strutting off.

Back at the DiMera mansion on Thursday’s DOOL show, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) talked to the baby while he was sleeping and insisted he’d need a new name since Jude DiMera (Oliver McLarty) didn’t work for him.

Kristen came along and learned EJ’s son with Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) was alive after all – at least based on his side of the story.

Once Kristen heard about Sloan Petersen-Brady’s (Jessica Serfaty) bogus adoption scheme, she seriously doubted Sloan could pull all that off alone.

Kristen also hinted that since Sloan was gone without a trace and Clyde Weston (James Read) was on the run, perhaps EJ was losing his touch on finding enemies.

At the Montana motel on Thursday’s Days episode, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) woke up startled by Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) in the cot right next to her.

Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) was already up and on his laptop since there was some big Clyde news happening.

After Harris explained that the black book had been decoded, he added that three drug dealer names were local.

Harris was convinced one of them would lead to Clyde, but he refused to let Ava and Lucas come on his search.

Once Harris ended up in an alley somewhere, he found one of the drug dealers named Snake (Rene D’Nava) and eventually flashed his badge.

Snake shoved him and bolted, so Harris chased after him.

Back with Ava on Thursday’s Days episode, she lied to Lucas about Harris wanting them to follow up on a lead regarding Rebecca Goldman’s (Christy St. John) post office delivery.

Ava forced Lucas to wear his robe from the monastery while she wore a cowgirl hat and quizzed people inside.

After Goldman physically bumped into Lucas, she tried to reach for her weapon.

Lucas ended up spraying Goldman with some bear spray, so restrained Goldman’s eyes were swollen and looking rough when Ava came back.

Ava made a prediction that Goldman would lead them to Clyde, so Lucas helped Ava lead the captured accomplice away.
