Loyal fans would remember that Dimitri first appeared in DOOL spin-off Beyond Salem, as Megan Hathaway DiMera’s son. However, after two chapters of Beyon Salem, he jumped onto the mothership, recall Days of Our Lives Spoilers. Which, in hindsight, we can see was a brilliant move. He proved to be a perfect addition to the soap.
Fans are still eager and holding on to the hope that Dimitri will soon return to the screen and reprise his romance with Leo. In fact, even if he does not return to the main soap, there is still a possibility that we may see him in Beyond Salem’s next chapter.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers reveal that even though the spinoff has not yet been renewed for a third chapter, there is also no news about it getting canceled forever. Rumor mills spill that the makers could actually be considering a third season since the first two were very well received.
Moreover, ever since Days of Our Lives moved to Peacock from NBC it has remained one of the most streamed shows on the OTT platform, which will just make a Beyond Salem chapter 3 an all the more lucrative prospect. In fact, why just stop with Dimitri? If the spinoff does roll out, it could also bring Megan back to the screen!
