The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, May 30, reveal that Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) will lay down the law with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) when it comes to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
Although Jack wants to continue serving as a sponsor for Nikki, Diane feels like that’s asking too much of his wife – especially since Jack recklessly threw his sobriety away to get Nikki in rehab.
Nikki is doing much better, but Diane won’t want to risk any type of situation that might trigger another scary ordeal for Jack.
With that in mind, Diane will deliver a fierce ultimatum and presumably insist Jack has to choose between being her husband or being Nikki’s sponsor.
If Jack chooses the latter, divorce could be in his future since Diane just doesn’t see a way past this hurdle.
Next on Thursday’s Y&R episode, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will support Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) following their arrival in Paris, but big trouble’s brewing thanks to Ashley’s alters.
Ashley will listen in on a conversation between Traci and Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins), which will leave her struggling to keep the voices inside her head under control.
It won’t be long until Ashley’s alters fight back against her attempt to uncover the trauma she’s buried, so it seems “Ms. Abbott” will take the lead and sneak off soon enough.
Over with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), he’ll have a surprising encounter during his Paris trip.
That could point to a dangerous faceoff with “Ms. Abbott,” who would still love the opportunity to wipe Tucker off the planet forever.
As for Traci, she’ll no doubt panic if she realizes Ashley has gone missing.
