Finally, some good news for Days of Our Lives‘ Arianne Zucker! Now that the truth about Jude is coming out (the Sloan part of it, at least), it looks like things may start wrapping up for Nicole’s time in Salem. We know Zucker will be exiting the soap at the end of July, and once Nicole and Eric find out that he’s the father, rather than EJ, we have a feeling the whole family might be leaving town.
Between her exit and subsequent lawsuit against Days of Our Lives producers and production companies, it’s been a difficult year for Zucker. Now, though, she shared some unabashedly good news from her life: She and Shawn Christian (ex-Daniel) have finally set their wedding! “We discovered a wedding destination and date,” Zucker excitedly shared on Instagram. “So grateful to everyone who has helped us make this exploration an eye-opening awe-inspiring adventure!”
She also shared gorgeous photos “capturing the authentic love and joy in our wild romance,” which you can check out here!
The two shared their engagement back in June… of 2021. So when Zucker and Christian shared the news on Instagram, the groom-to-be admitted, “I already hear many of you saying, ‘Finally Shawn!’ Just remember, y’all… There is great value in long courtships.”
We can not and will not argue with that! There’s nothing wrong with a long engagement, especially when you know you’re meant for each other and neither of you are going anywhere.
And don’t worry about that Holly and Nicole friction we’ve been seeing on the screen, because in real life, Ashley Puzemis was thrilled for her TV mom, commenting “Awwww!” with a few heart-filled emojis. It’s a sentiment we all share, and while the couple hasn’t shared further details yet, we can’t wait to hear all about the big day!
