Maggie comes to Alex’s office to request an office for Konstantin. Alex flatly refuses, which leads to an argument. Maggie reminds him they are splitting Victor’s estate equally, so he has no right to object to her simple request. He damn well better work with her, or her next request might not be so simple. Alex relents, but warns he’ll be keeping an eye on him.

At Titan, Alex and Maggie share a fraught look

Theresa breezes into the Pub where Brady works on his laptop. Joining him, she tells him she’s back with Alex. That’s great, he deadpans. It’s what she wanted, right? “It’s exactly what I wanted,” she says straight-faced. He asks where that leaves Alex and Kristen. Theresa retorts that was just a pathetic attempt at making them jealous. While Theresa reluctantly admits it worked on her, Brady confirms there’s no chance he’ll ever get back together with Kristen. Theresa tells him he deserves someone special because he is. She knows he’ll find her. Brady isn’t so sure.

At Pub table, Theresa and Brady exchange wry looks

Chad returns from a harrowing school drop-off while Julie does a crossword puzzle in the Kiriakis living room. Julie gets a call that they can move back into the house. She and Chad celebrate.

In the Square, Aaron laments to Tate that his promposal donuts for Holly will go to waste since her mother won’t let her go to prom. Meanwhile, Chanel sets up her table in front of Sweet Bits. Felicity, a young girl with Down syndrome (played by Kennedy Garcia), brings Chanel Challah bread. Felicity suggests she add it to her menu. Johnny arrives to do the taste test when Chanel feels queasy. Johnny approves and then steps away to take a call. Aaron and Tate approach, leading Chanel to get Aaron’s donuts. Aaron introduces Tate to his sister Felicity, who is a freshman and is going to start working at the bakery through a school prep program. Chanel returns with donuts. Lettering on them that reads, “Will you go to prom with me?”

Still in Alex’s office, Maggie answers a call from Julie. Maggie tells her how wonderful her news is, but her demeanor is melancholic. When Alex hears, he declares he can finally take his rightful place in the family home. Maggie bristles, and they have more words. After she leaves, Alex calls Kristen to cancel because he’s too busy with the move. He promises to make it up to her very, very soon.

In the Pub, Theresa tells Brady that love will find him when he least expects it. They quip over her greeting card platitudes and then discover they both signed up to chaperone Tate’s prom. “Does this mean we’re going to prom together?” Brady whimsically asks. They joke about corsages and scarring Tate.

As they pack at the mansion, Julie tells Chad she dreamed of Abigail last night. He laments not being able to save her. Julie knows Abigail wouldn’t want him to suffer like this. She urges him to move on for himself and his children. He’ll never forget her, but it’s time for him to live a full purposeful life.

In the Square, Johnny learns over the phone that relocation is baked into the movie production job offer. He tells them he’ll need more time to think things over. At Sweet Bits, Aaron sulks over Holly not being able to go to prom with him. Tate invites him to go with him and Sofia. Aaron reluctantly accepts before they leave.

Outside the Pub, Aaron opens a Sweet Bits box to Theresa. Next to him on the bench, Tate eats a pastry.

The teens stop outside the Pub to eat the prom donuts. Upon exiting the Pub, Theresa accepts a donut from Aaron and heads off. Aaron worries about being a third wheel with Tate and Sofia at prom. Tate assures him that’s not a problem. He plans to ghost them after dinner so Aaron and Sofia can have some alone time. He knows Aaron likes her and besides, she’s not who Tate really wants to take to prom.

When Maggie comes home, she and Julie tear up as they express how much they appreciate and will miss each other.

At their apartment, Alex tells Theresa he’s moving into his father’s home as head of the family. She notes they are just getting back together, and now he’s bailing. He points out he’ll just be across town. She coyly states being across the bed is a lot closer than being across town. “Are you saying you want to move in with me?” She hedges, not wanting to appear uncouth. Alex straightforwardly asks if she wants to move into the mansion with him. “Yes! Yes, I do!” As they hug, Alex’s expression turns wary.

Outside the Pub, Tate admits to Aaron that he and Holly are still together. Aaron makes Romeo and Juliet references, but wonders why, after everything she did to him. Tate doesn’t need him to understand, but asks him to respect it and to keep it to himself. Aaron promises. Tate says he really wants to surprise her on prom night as Brady exits the Pub. “Surprise who?” Tate lies that he’s talking about Sofia. Brady announces he and Tate’s mother will be attending his prom. Tate bursts out laughing. Brady assures him he’s not kidding. They’re going to be chaperones. “Sorry, dude.”

At the Horton House, Doug sits in his chair surrounded by moving boxes. He tells Julie and Chad it feels like home. Chad blames himself for the fire because of his war with Clyde. Then, Abby’s story about him cost her her life. Julie insists the blame rests solely on Clyde. They will all stand up against him until that murdering sonofabitch is behind bars for the rest of his life. Julie suggests they have a massive family reunion. Hopefully, they’ll have unlocked the time capsule by then. She puts Tom and Alice’s photo on the mantle and says, “Welcome home.”
