Instead, she called up the school and set up an appointment with the school counselor.
In the upcoming episodes, the meeting with the counsellor could fill Liz in on whatever drama Aiden is facing at school. It could even include a talk regarding him coming out as gay, and a potential relationship with Tobias.
However, the worst will come, when Liz tries to reach out to her son over the phone but fails. As time passes, she may realize that Aiden is possibly missing.
