The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Tuesday, May 21 – Sheila’s Heartfelt Plea to Finn – Steffy Reacts to Engagement

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, May 21, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) showed up in the Forrester CEO office looking for Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), so that led to her complaining to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).

Stefy insisted that Hope was buying Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) ridiculous ideas about Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) being a changed woman, so she wanted Hope to stay away from John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and stop trying to influence him.

In Finn’s office on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Hope thanked him for the pep talk and ego boost, but her headache was still bothering her.

Finn gave Hope another massage and focused on her spine this time before offering advice on how to relieve stress.

Hope admitted it hadn’t been easy since Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) left the country with his father – and it had been an adjustment with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) gone from Hope for the Future, too.

Throw in Hope’s divorce from Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) on top of that and it was easy to see why Hope had been struggling.

Hope suggested that maybe she’d just been hiding it pretty well.

After Finn reflected on Hope’s name being a perfect fit for her, he talked about how she had hope for everyone – even the lost souls.

Hope thought Finn was all about hope too as a doctor, so he guessed they had more in common than they thought.

After Finn reiterated that he had to put Steffy’s feelings first and avoid the marriage ceremony, Hope praised him for his commitment to his wife and made it clear that Steffy was lucky to have him.

At Il Giardino, Sheila admitted to Deacon that she wanted an automatic yes, but she thought maybe she was fooling herself by getting her hopes up about Finn attending the wedding.

Deacon wished Steffy could just give Finn a hall pass since it wasn’t like he was asking her or the kids to come.

Sheila briefly admitted it’d be wonderful if the children could be there, but she knew that wasn’t realistic.

That said, Sheila held onto Hope that Finn would show up on their wedding day.

Deacon reminded Sheila that miracles happen and suggested that if Hope came as her maid of honor, Finn might follow.

Deacon urged Shela to visualize Finn standing at the altar with them, but all Sheila could see was Steffy’s face with a “big-ass scowl on it.”

Back with Steffy, she pushed Brooke to talk some sense into Hope, who entered the office and wondered what was going on.

Steffy confronted Hope about warming up to Sheila when she should be rotting in prison.

Since Hope seemed hesitant to say much, Steffy thought she was right about Hope’s improving view of Sheila.

Brooke lashed out as well since she didn’t want Hope to let Deacon influence her like that.

Hope admitted that Deacon proposed to Sheila, so Steffy called him an idiot.

After Steffy said Sheila hadn’t changed, she argued that Sheila was just trying to lure Finn back into her life.

Back at Il Giardino, Finn gave Deacon updates on some bad news.

Although Finn wished Deacon and Sheila the best, he pointed out that Steffy didn’t want him anywhere near his birth mother.

Deacon hinted that Finn could make his own decisions, but he insisted he wasn’t trying to cause trouble in Finn’s marriage.

Finn felt there would indeed be trouble if he went to the wedding against Steffy’s wishes.

When Sheila appeared, Finn admitted he couldn’t be at the ceremony as Deacon’s best man.

Sheila assumed it was because of Steffy and made a pitch about what a magical day it was going to be.

Although Sheila claimed she wasn’t trying to make things tough on Finn, she said it’d be so meaningful to have him there.

Sheila begged Finn to please say he’d be there for his mom on her wedding day.
