Days of Our Lives Game-Changer: Nicole Finds Out Jude Is Hers… But There’s a Catch

The week of May 20 promises to be a monumental one for Days of Our Lives’ Nicole: She’s finally about to get baby Jude back. But the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth won’t be hers for a while yet!
After getting an eyeful of Nicole and Eric’s kiss, EJ knows that he has to act fast. So he strong-arms Sloan into telling her husband that Jude is EJ and Nicole’s. “He’s like, ‘Hey, you can go off wherever you want to go. You can live the best life ever. I will pay for it,’” Dan Feuerriegel tells Soap Opera Digest. “‘All you have to do is confess and pretend as though you’ve run away. I will take the baby, and you will be set up for life.’
“EJ somehow convinces her that no one’s going to believe her” side of the story, he adds. “She’s the one who did this, and he’s the one who’s coming to try and right the wrong.”

Well, sort of. Mainly, what Stefano’s son wants to do is ensure that he never walk in on another buss stop between his wife and her old flame. “He saw what Nicole not having this child is doing to her,” Feuerriegel theorizes, “so he’s going to fix that.” By doing so, EJ reckons that “it will strengthen their relationship, and Eric will fall by the wayside.”
