General Hospital Spoilers: Carly And Gio Start Off On The Wrong Foot Thanks To Sonny
General Hospital spoilers tease that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) has had an ongoing feud with her former stepfather Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) ever since he slept with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) while still married to her mother Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
Up until that, Joss overlooked Sonny’s criminal ties as head of the Corinthos Organization, instead focusing on all the good he did for her and for the city of Port Charles. But once he become involved with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), Joss’ hate for Sonny seems to have no bounds.
General Hospital Spoilers – Joss Jacks sees the worst of Sonny Corinthos
Joss fell in love with Dex, who was working for Sonny. Joss hated that Dex was involved with Sonny’s criminal organization but her feelings for him helped her put her concerns aside.
But when Dex confessed that he almost murdered Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) on Sonny’s orders, it was too much for Joss to look past. Joss dumped Dex who tried to make aments by joining the police academy and turning his life around. Even so, it seems that their romance is over.
GH Spoilers – Giovanni Palmieri owes Sonny Corinthos a lot!
Carly met Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) at Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) wedding to Harrison Chase (John Swickard).
He was the violinist at the ceremony and also Brook Lynn’s cousin. Joss and Gio seemed to hit it off and it looks like Gio will be sticking around town. But what Joss doesn’t yet know is that Sonny not paid for Gio’s violin lessons, he also paid for Gio’s schooling. Once Joss finds out, she might decide to steer clear of Gio since he has close ties to Sonny.
General Hospital Spoilers – Joss Jacks may be reminded that Sonny Corinthos isn’t all bad!
While is seems that Joss and Gio will disagree about Sonny, perhaps she will soften a bit when she realizes just how much Sonny did for Gio.
It doesn’t negate his darker tendencies but perhaps Joss will be reminded of the man she grew up knowing as her step-father. Also, if Gio and Joss can get past her hatred for Sonny, perhaps they have a shot at a new romance. Sonny and Joss may never be as close as they once were, but maybe she will stop seeing him as an enemy.
