Ex-Days Of Our Lives Star Camila Banus Spills The Tea – Calls Out Former Colleagues & “Snakes”
It’s been a hot minute since actress Camila Banus left her post at Days of Our Lives (DOOL) playing Gabi Hernandez. After 13 years with the soap, she announced her exit in May 2023, and Gabi’s last scenes on canvas were played out in November 2023.
Still, a recent social media post has fans buzzing, as Camila spills some tea about her former co-stars on the show and how “those snakes” treated her.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Why Did Camila Banus Leave DOOL?
Banus’s exit from Days was pretty standard, with very little drama. When she announced she was leaving the show, she noted that it was time to move on to the next chapter of her life.
Still, about a month after she told fans about her exit, allegations of sexual harassment against former producer, Albert Alarr, surfaced, which culminated in a cast petition to have him removed.
Then, the other shoe dropped in January of this year, when Arianne Zucker (Nicole DiMera) brought forth claims that she had been fired from DOOL, and was suing Ken Corday, Allar, Corday Productions, and Sony Pictures.
She also alleged that the show did not take action against Allar, despite his harassment and degradation of the females on the soap.
She believes the show took retaliation on her for speaking up. In a statement, she says, “So for all my coworkers who said they were scared to say anything out of fear of being fired. Well, you all were right.”

Fast forward to Wednesday, May 15, Banus shared some interesting information on her IG stories, writing the following statement, “I will never understand all the people at my previous place of employment that are friends with snakes. Just know this. I remember all, I will continue to remember how those snakes treated me and how others allowed and perpetuated their behavior. I remember times where everyone just stayed quiet, knowing what was happening was wrong. Men and women.” Under the words were two emojis, a cup of tea and a teapot.
