General Hospital Spoilers: Valentin Is Forced To Choose Between Pikeman — And Protecting Anna
General Hospital spoilers squeal Police Commissioner (Finola Hughes) is in deep and possibly over her head trying to manipulate her ex’s lingering feelings for her into advancing her own agenda with this joint FBI investigation into Pikeman.
Anna thought she might be able to butter Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) up enough to let the truth slip, but the fans aren’t buying it.
She should know better than to think he would be that sloppy. Moreover, the fans suspect this is a pipe dream Anna is chasing just to spend some time with Valentin under the guise of it being for the case she’s working.
But Anna may not be the one who is struggling with her emotions when all is said and done. Valentin knows she’s sniffing around Pikeman, and it’s only a matter of time before she may get into it so far that he can’t extract her.
Will he be forced to decide what is more important to him — Pikeman, or Anna?
General Hospital Spoilers — Date Number Two is in Sight
Anna’s first date with Valentin was clearly an emotional experience for her, but the fans don’t yet have Valentin pegged. While he told the bartender he was hoping to reignite an old flame, it’s clear that he had his agenda on his mind a bit more than she did.
Or, at least, he’s better at keeping his feelings compartmentalized and in check.
Still, they both left the date with the prospect of another more intimate evening on the horizon. Will they actually rekindle this flame while playing one another for information?
If Valentin is sincere, will Anna be able to go through with her plan to use him to advance her investigation?
GH Spoilers Hint Anna Digs a Hole Too Deep
The truth is that Valentin knows a lot more about what Anna is digging into than she does. While he’s not willing to share that information, he does want her to stay far away from it.
At first glance, it may appear that he’s just a criminal trying to keep his crime under wraps — especially from his ex, who is the police commissioner.
But taking a deeper look into things, it’s also possible that Valentin wants to protect Anna and knows she’s playing with fire by even trying to look under the floorboards of what is going on with Pikeman.

Ultimately, Anna could find herself in some seriously hot water here — and she may not have the advantage of having Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) or the FBI in her corner at every turn.
If Pikeman catches wind of her investigation and believes she’s more of a threat than the FBI is on their own, she may end up in a dangerous position that only one person can save her from — Valentin.
Will he risk everything to keep her safe, or will Anna dig a hole so deep for herself that even Valentin can’t pull her back from the brink?
