General Hospital (GH) tease that flamin’ hot Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) made a big impression at his cousin Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) wedding.
The talented violinst dropped to Joss Jacks (Eden McCoy) in the May 15 episode that he is also a mechanic and it makes perfect sense that generous Sonny would offer to set him up with a garage.
Let’s just hope he has a better PC future than Brando did. In real life Mazza is a virtuoso violinist and here’s what to know about Gio’s plans.

Gio came for BLQ’s wedding but will stick around for the summer at least. It’s clear that he and Joss could canoodle, throwing a wrench into her friendship with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).
Who knew that violins and spark plugs go so well together? The moment Gio mentioned fixing cars was a huge clue as to his skill set.
It makes much more sense for him to rebuild engine blocks for a living, and Sonny loves the Cerullo family and would do anything for them especially now that he needs some new loyal sidekicks.
GH spoilers: Sonny is Generous
Although Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) sold Brando’s garage to Selina Wu (Lydia Look), it’s a natural for Sonny to buy it back; Selina has much bigger fish to fry. Or, Sonny could open a competing garage.
Everyone needs to get their car serviced at some point so having Gio be the go-to mechanic would enable him to interact with the cast of PC characters. And maybe run some shady business on the side!

Then again, Gio might be interested in Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and vice versa. This would cause friction between her and Joss, and soaps run on complications.
