Hope you RSVP’d yes to what promises to be the wedding of the year. May 15 marked the beginning of Chase and Brook Lynn’s nuptials on General Hospital. On one hand, the event promises to be super romantic. How could it not be, right? Few and far between are the couples that are more enamored of one another than the future marrieds. On the other hand, the ceremony is sure to be a whole lotta fun, too. With Brook Lynn’s grandparents, not to mention mom Lois and granny Tracy in attendance, that’s a guarantee.

But not all of the tears that will be shed may be the happy kind. In the teaser video below, Olivia jinxes the shindig by saying that everything needs to go off without a hitch. (She should know better!) Father of the groom Gregory has been struggling more than ever as ALS takes its toll. He even decided not to make the trip to Coney Island for the rehearsal dinner in hopes of conserving his strength for the wedding itself. Will he actually survive the ceremony?

On Thursday, May 16, Gregory’s difficulties manifest in a big way. The reception still gets underway, but a dark cloud is hung over the festivities. As the week ends, Finn is eager to raise a glass to his brother and his newly minted bride, but worries about their father cast a pall. Is a miracle in store for Gregory, or is his storyline destined to end in a funeral? It certainly looks grim, considering that while officiating the nuptials, he seized up.
