It’s a ‘Woo Hoo’ Young & Restless Exclusive: Lauralee Bell and Michael Damian On the Plot Twist That Left One of ’Em Crying, ‘No, No, No!’

Danny Romalotti may have finally made a decision about his romantic life with Christine on The Young and the Restless (Bye, Phyllis!), but there was one big question Soaps.com had to ask Michael Damian about his beloved rock star character. With Danny always traveling the world for his career — and perhaps enjoying an entanglement or two with a groupie — we thought there could be a possible storyline ahead. Are you ready for it? Damian and Lauralee Bell certainly weren’t when we posed the question: Might Danny have any surprise groupie babies out there?

“Oh my God. She’s giving me a heart attack. Oh no, no, no, no,” Damian says with a laught while pretending to be horrified. Bell then chimes in with a more practical family addition for Christine and Danny, “We’d like to have a dog, not a baby!”

While Bell’s open to adding a “stuffed” puppy to the love affair, Damian was admittedly flustered by the thought of a groupie baby entering the chat. Hey, Danny just sorted out his love life, we get it!

“I hope they don’t do the groupie…” Damian starts.

” ….baby!” said Bell as she completes his sentence.

“That would be really uh… woo hoo!” he quips.

“That was a good one,” Bell shares with a laugh, “It’s definitely possible. Anything’s possible!”

But Damian is making sure everyone hears him loudly and clearly on this matter with a convincing, “No, no, no, no, no! Look, I’m just getting Phyllis to leave us alone. Let’s take care of Phyllis and then we’ll figure out the rest.”

OK, the matter is settled — there are no groupie babies for Danny ever. But, what about that stuffed dog for him and Christine?
