The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Abby Lands in Daniel’s Bed – Cheaters Blow Up Current Relationships?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that trouble could be brewing for Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) and Devon Hamilton-Winters’ (Bryton James) relationship. Although Devon and Abby seemed solid until recently, Abby made a bold move against her boyfriend in the May 16 episode.
Devon didn’t even give Abby a heads-up on what the board meeting was about and still expected her to side with him.
Instead of falling in line and voting with Devon, Abby voted with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) instead.
Since Abby felt like severely limiting Billy’s power and Jill’s autonomy would end in disaster, she blocked Devon and Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) plan.
It was a good way for Abby to show that she’s her own woman and that she won’t just vote however Devon wants.
Abby can make up her own mind, but this could be the start of some bigger issues in her romance with Devon.
We all know Devon can’t handle it when people start going against him on things!
That’s especially true with Abby since Devon expects his girlfriend to be supportive.
The more Abby stands up to Devon, the greater the chances that their relationship will fall apart.
We should also mention Abby’s scenes with Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) in the May 16 episode, which were a good reminder that these two are supposed to be friends.
In fact, Daniel and Abby are former flames, so that’s something Y&R could lean into for a new storyline – especially if Abby and Devon’s romance ends up on the rocks.
Although Daniel wasn’t pleased over Abby’s admission about how she voted regarding the lawsuit, that’s something they could easily get past.
Abby seems to be battling some guilt over Daniel’s pain, so she’s hopeful about his compromise with Lily working out.
Of course, there’s no guarantee that compromise will truly happen.
There could be more Chancellor-Winters drama if Abby ultimately defends Daniel and acts like he’s being treated unfairly.
At this point, Daniel seems like he’s perhaps dealing with some regrets about torpedoing his life to reunite with Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom).
It could lead to Daniel resenting Heather on some level and resorting to some self-sabotage again.
Both Daniel and Abby have cheated before, so will history repeat itself? Will Abby land in bed with Daniel after Y&R pushes them closer?
Daniel could blow up his relationship with Heather while Abby ruins her romance with Devon, so plenty of chaos could come out of that potential story.
