General Hospital Recap: Wednesday, May 15 – Gregory’s Crisis Halts Wedding – Sonny & Dex’s Run-In

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, May 15, reveals that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) stole a moment alone with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) to praise him for being a good father and express regret over missing his wedding to Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) years ago.

Meanwhile, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) chatted with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LiCicero) in the Metro Court patio area that was set up for the reception.

Since that’s where Sonny was picking up his wedding date, he made sure Olivia and Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) exchanged introductions.

At Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) place, he expressed concern to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) about Gregory Chase’s (Gregory Harrison) decline and whether he could physically make it through the ceremony today.

Finn also stepped out in the hallway and handed over a manila envelope to Ned, who let him know they were good to go.

It was clearly some special delivery that would play a role in the wedding festivities later.

Once Gregory was dressed, he gave Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) some advice about soaking up the whole wedding experience and taking a mental picture he could keep forever.

Chase praised Gregory for being the best dad he could ask for and hugged him.

Outside the church, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) hinted about Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) new job at Aurora and congratulated him.

Once Curtis and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) shared a kiss, Jordan watched them around the corner and seemed wistful.

Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) got flirty with Jordan after they crossed paths, so they agreed to sit together at the ceremony.

Over with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) on Wednesday’s GH episode, he did his best to avoid Cousin Patty Cerullo, who pestered him for a dance later.

Elsewhere, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) met Giovanni Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), who was Brook Lynn’s cousin and a violinist for the ceremony.

Giovanni also asked if Sonny was going to be there today, so Josslyn seemed thrown over the question.

When Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) bumped into Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), he admitted he was nervous about being Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) wedding date and assured Anna that his intentions were honorable.

Soon after, Spinelli was overjoyed to see Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), so he pulled him into a tight embrace and gave him a warm welcome back.

Once Sonny appeared with Natalia on his arm, both Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and Blaze aka Allison Rogers (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) were shocked.

Blaze wound up cornering Natalia alone later and seemed annoyed over her mom finding an alternate way to attend the wedding.

Kristina also talked to Sonny about how this plus one happened and told him to turn up the charm with Natalia since she needed all the help she could get.

At one point, Sonny also encountered Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and glared at him.

Natalia heard the news about Dex being Sonny’s ex-employee since he violated his boss’ trust.

Once Natalia noticed the difference in how Sonny interacted with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Michael, Sonny explained that Michael was the son who disappointed him deeply.

In a wedding prep area, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) shared some sweet mother-daughter scenes with Lois before Tracy showed up with a gift.

It was a bracelet that belonged to Lila Quartermaine (Anna Lee), so Brook Lynn was touched.

In a rare moment of emotion, Tracy conveyed just how much Brook Lynn meant to her and pulled her into a hug.

Lois eventually met up with Olivia, Ned, Gloria Cerullo (Ellen Travolta), Carmine Cerullo (George Russo) and Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) ahead of the ceremony.

After Ned and Lois shared a sentimental conversation as parents, Ned also spoke with Brook Lynn alone and made it clear that she’d always be his little girl.

Jason popped up near the entrance and explained how Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) asked him to attend, which Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) didn’t look happy about.

After Tracy gave Gregory a quick pep talk, Giovanni played the violin as the ceremony kicked off. Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) was the flower girl and loved every second of it.

Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) also headed down the aisle as a bridesmaid before it was Maxie’s turn.

Once Ned walked Brook Lynn to the altar next, she joined Chase as Finn stood next to him.

Gregory began his role as an officiant by welcoming everyone, but it didn’t take long for him to have difficulties.

Chase, Brook Lynn, Finn and plenty of wedding guests look concerned as Gregory’s symptoms left him struggling to speak at all.
