Days of Our Lives Tuesday, May 14 Recap- Alex’s Wild Spending, Stefan Surrenders Records to Help Gabi

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, May 14, reveals that Tate Black (Leo Howard) was confused over why Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) had been ignoring him, so he quizzed her by the lockers at school.

Holly admitted she was embarrassed over Tate witnessing her fight with Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker), but Tate just hated seeing her so upset.

When Sophia Choi (Madelyn Kientz) caught Holly and Tate talking, she wondered what was going on.

Tate claimed he was asking Holly for Spanish help, but Holly said it was her worst subject.

Sophia insisted she could tutor Tate instead, but he came up with an excuse to get out of it this afternoon.

Once Sophia was gone on Tuesday’s Days episode, Holly admitted she was glad Tate was going to prom with her bestie.

That confused Tate, but Holly felt that he deserved to fall for a girl that he didn’t have to sneak around with.

Holly pushed Tate to give Sophia a real chance, but he insisted Holly was the only one he wanted. It seemed like Tate was about to tell Holly that he loved her, but the bell rang and interrupted him.

Tate planted a big kiss on Holly instead and made it clear that that he didn’t care about all the complications, so she was on the same page about making this work.

After Holly went to class on Tuesday’s DOOL show, Tate hinted that maybe there was a way and seemed hopeful like he had an idea.

When a stunned Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) came home to find the apartment full of boxes, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) admitted he might’ve overdone it on new purchases.

However, Alex felt like money was meant to be spent and hinted about this making up for the pain he felt when he found Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) wasn’t his real father – at least somewhat.

Once Alex shouted up to Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) in heaven that he forgave him, he hoped he was sending that gratitude in the right direction.

Alex had all kinds of new toys to show off – like a fancy espresso maker, a drone, a hybrid Ferrari and matching diamond-encrusted watches since he got one for Theresa, too.

After Alex admitted he planned to move all this stuff into the Kiriakis mansion once Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) and the kids moved out, he told Theresa he’d pay for her to stay in the apartment alone.

Theresa said that wasn’t what she wanted and came clean about the games she’d been playing with Alex, which ultimately backfired.

Once Theresa insisted she never really wanted to break up, she begged Alex to tell her that it wasn’t too late for them.

Alex acted like he needed a chance to process what Theresa just told him, but Theresa said to shut up and make love to her.

Once Theresa pounced on Alex, he started stripping down with her as sultry music played.

At the townhouse on Tuesday’s Days episode, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) returned from a Chicago business trip with Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) favorite perfume as a belated Mother’s Day gift.

Brady also expressed concern about Alex getting to spend too much time with Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) since Alex was a shallow, bad influence in his eyes.

Marlena didn’t see Alex that way, but Brady still didn’t like the idea of another guy getting to spend more time with Rachel than her own father.

Brady also had Marlena serve as the witness for the papers he’d had drawn up, which involved a trust so that Tate and Rachel would be set for life.

Marlena learned Brady was making the most of the money Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) left him when she redistributed funds to the Kiriakis members who’d been cut out of Victor’s will.

Brady admitted to thinking Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) was bad news and only looking for a quick payday, so Marlena confessed she didn’t like him either and made a Maggie-related phone call to John Black (Drake Hogestyn) once she was alone.

At The Bistro on Tuesday’s Days episode, Kristen gave Stefan updates on Gil Carter’s (David S. Lee) fingerprint being in Li Shin’s (Remington Hoffman) blood on the black book, so she offered a prediction on Gabi Hernandez DiMera (last played by Camila Banus) getting off the hook.

Rafe and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) eventually showed up to request the personnel records of everyone who worked at the restaurant while Gil was there – starting with the timeframe of when Li was wiped out.

Stefan assured Rafe that he’d fully cooperate and handed those records over immediately since they were on the same side of trying to free Gabi.

Most of the people didn’t work there anymore, but Rafe was committed to tracking them down and finding someone who knew something.

Days of Our Lives spoilers Stefan will hold out hope that he’ll be reunited with Gabi sooner or later, so stay tuned.
