Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Melinda’s Blackmail Crisis – Can’t Escape EJ’s Vengeful Demands?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) was rattled when Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty) admitted Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) blabbed to EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) about stolen Jude Brady.

Of course, Sloan scrambled to save herself by confessing that she changed the DNA test results.

EJ found out Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) was the father of Nicole DiMera’s (Arianne Zucker) baby – and now he’s got confirmation thanks to Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton).

Although Melinda’s name has been kept out of it so far, there’s only so much Sloan can do to protect her. EJ wasn’t born yesterday and is bound to figure out that Sloan had some help.

Everyone knows that Melinda was the adoption attorney involved – not to mention Sloan made her Jude’s godmother.

Days spoilers suggest EJ should quickly realize that Melinda was just as culpable in all this as Sloan.

Although EJ’s going to keep quiet to prevent Nicole and Eric from reuniting over Jude, that doesn’t mean Sloan and Melinda will get off scot-free.

We want to focus on Melinda for a moment, so let’s talk about the blackmail crisis that could be headed her way.

DOOL fans will recall that EJ and Melinda have had quite a feud over the years.

In fact, that feud played a big role in Melinda’s willingness to keep Jude away from EJ and all the DiMera toxicity.

Once EJ discovers Melinda’s part in the deception, Days spoilers say he’ll put her on full blast.

EJ may make it clear that he expects Melinda to do his dirty work from now on and start delivering some demands.

Since EJ has been hinting about his desire to be the new mayor, he may push for Melinda’s assistance.

Melinda may have some lingering connections that could prove beneficial to EJ.

There might even be a situation where EJ hopes to further damage Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) reputation, so he could get Melinda to sabotage her and force her out of office.

From there, EJ might order Melinda to be his campaign manager and pull off some other shady moves to make sure he’s top dog in Salem.
