The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Kyle’s Done with Bossy Summer – Throws Out Ex’s Claire Decision and Takes Charge
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will get fed up with Summer Newman’s (Allison Lanier) constant rants about Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) and the threat she perceives her to be.
This is a storyline where it’s easy to see both sides since Claire played a huge role in almost wiping out a good chunk of the Newman family.
Claire also just got out of the psych ward not too long ago, so none of that screams “amazing nanny candidate.”
At the same time, Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) adores Claire, who had nothing to do with his kidnapping.
Jordan (Colleen Zenk) is the one who really deserves the blame for all the abduction terror, especially since Claire was snatched and held hostage, too.
From Kyle’s perspective, he sees Claire as someone who’s able to connect with Harrison and make him feel better after one of the worst ordeals of his life.
Harrison clearly isn’t triggered by spending time with Claire like Summer feared he would be.
Despite Summer’s outbursts and all the rules she’s trying to make when it comes to Claire, Kyle will ultimately decide enough is enough.
It’ll lead to Kyle making some rules of his own and throwing them in Summer’s face.
On May 17, Kyle will reject Summer’s choice regarding Claire, so it sounds like he’ll pull rank as Harrison’s biological father.
Kyle does have a custody agreement with Summer, but no one knows the exact nature of that agreement or what Summer’s rights truly look like.
Based on Y&R spoilers and our predictions, it certainly sounds like Kyle will show off his power and make Summer feel like less of a parent since she’s not Harrison’s bio mom.
Whatever the case, Kyle will take charge of the situation and perhaps put his foot down when it comes to letting Claire hang out with Harrison.
Whether that leads to an actual nanny position or not, Kyle may refuse to keep Harrison and Claire apart like Summer’s been demanding.
