Recently, an Instagram follower of Vanessa Marcil’s took time out of her day to post on her page that “Megan Fox is the furthest thing from who women should look up to. I know you share an ex, but her and the BS with [boyfriend] Machine Gun Kelly is a joke, sad one.” It didn’t go well for that follower.

For those unaware, the Jennifer’s Body leading lady was married for just over a year to Beverly Hills, 90210’s Brian Austin Green, with whom she has three kids. While Marcil on the primetime drama, she got involved with Green, who is the father of her son, Kassius. Got all that? Now, in response to the criticism of Fox, Marcil wrote, “Female tribe, are we really still out here saying stupidtransparent (jealousy) [bleep] about each other? Tearing each other down? Calling each other whores?

“How many men do y’all know who aren’t whores if given the chance? What do women do when men cheat? They stay with them,” she continued. “If the man is rich? They will even idolize him. While you are out fighting other women, publicly tearing other women down and standing up for deadbeat men? Men are laughing at us and still ruling the world. They are having us do all of the heavy lifting around raising their kids and they are cheating on you literally or they are addicted to porn while not standing for you to have basic human equal rights. If men all stood with us? They could change the laws and make us actually equals instantly.

“Pull it together,” she concluded, “and stand with other women. We are still the minorities.”

Rena Sofer, who is now back on General Hospital as Brenda’s bestie Lois, seconded that emotion. “Women need to learn that we are a tribe!” she said. “We are all interconnected surpassing all external factors! If we don’t start supporting each other and stop tearing each other down then we all lose!

“You are not a faceless voice behind a keyboard,” she added, “and if you choose to demolish a woman instead of holding her up, then you are part of the problem! We need each other now more than ever!”
