The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Jennifer Gareis Skipping Paris for Daytime Emmys – Wedding Trip Derailed
The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Jennifer Gareis (Donna Logan) recently scored quite an honor since she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in the category of Supporting Performance In A Daytime Drama Series: Actress. The big night is coming up on June 7, but it turns out Gareis’ nomination forced a change of plans.
In an interview with SOD, Gareis admitted that she had planned on attending a family wedding in Paris.
Once Gareis got updates on the news of her nom, she realized she had to change her flight and stick around for the ceremony instead.
Since this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, it’s easy to see why Gareis made that decision.
However, this also means Gareis will be flying solo at the Daytime Emmys since her husband still plans to attend the Paris nuptials.
“My husband is going to the wedding as he should because it’s for his cousin, so I guess it’ll just be me but I’ll be with my B&B family,” Gareis said.
It sounds like Gareis is looking forward to the celebration, especially since there’s so much talent in her category.
Gareis complimented the brilliant women she’s going up against and seems excited about their evening together.
As for which scenes Jennifer Gareis submitted, she talked about a monologue from back when Donna first discovered Eric Forrester (John McCook) was extremely sick.
Donna was on an emotional rollercoaster at the time, so Gareis had a chance to show off her range.
There was another scene of Donna saying goodbye to Eric when Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was trying to pull the plug on his father.
Gareis delivered a great performance as Donna struggled with feeling helpless in that situation.
Although Eric was in a coma when Donna was bidding farewell to him at the hospital, Jennifer Gareis acknowledged that John McCook still managed to bring out the best in her like he always does.
“I’m a better actress because of him,” Gareis insisted as she gushed over her co-star.
