Young & Restless’ Courtney Hope Shares a Gorgeous Series of Photos: ‘Wild, Free and Bride-to-Be’

Every now and then an event comes along so uplifting that it brings two daytime shows together like The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful. No, we aren’t talking about Sheila’s death — though that did certainly lead to ripple effects on both shows! (But also, she isn’t dead after all.) Instead, we’re talking about one of the most joyful human experiences out there: a wedding!

That’s just what Courtney Hope, who’s Sally crossed over from Los Angeles to build a life in Genoa City, celebrated recently. She took to Instagram to share a series of gorgeous photos with her girlfriends in the great outdoors, decked out in their finest cowboy hats. “Wild, free, and Bride-to-Be,” she celebrated.

The bride in question, however, was not Hope, but former The Bold and the Beautiful and current Young & Restless makeup artist James Elle. “Celebrating @moresweettea and her love,” Hope shared, “couldn’t have been more perfect! I love my girls!”

Of course Elle is just as well known on the two CBS sudsers as Hope, which meant everyone from Bold & Beautiful‘s Ashley Jones (Bridget) to Young & Restless’ Eileen Davidson (Ashley) and Susan Walters (Diane) chiming in with joyful comments. “I’m so excited for you!!” Walters told the bride to be.

And when Elle announced her engagement on Instagram last year, the folks from both shows were out in force in the comments to offer their congratulations!

Now if only Sally and Adam would follow suit and take the plunge… We know there are plenty of folks out there waiting for them to tie the knot — and we’ve got no doubt that their wedding would be one for the daytime ages!
