It’s a good thing that we have a scorecard to keep track of these things; otherwise, it could get darned confusing. General Hospital has just swapped out a pair of its younger cast members — one of them permanently, the other temporarily.

In the May 2 episode of ABC’s one and only daytime drama — at least for the moment — Juliet Donenfeld stepped in for Lily Fisher as Maxie and Spinelli’s daughter, Georgie, and Tristan Riggs picked up where Enzo De Angelis as Elizabeth and Lucky’s son, Aiden. The Georgie recast is short-term, per Soap Opera News; the Aiden recast, permanent, Soap Opera Digest reports.

General Hospital marks Donenfeld’s first turn in daytime television, but the young old pro has already appeared on The Ranch and The Big Show Show. Riggs, too, has begun racking up credits: He has guest-starred on Walker as the younger version of the title character’s brother, Liam, and the short-lived small-screen version of True Lies.

The kids aren’t only only fresh faces to turn up in Port Charles, either. General Hospital also just rehired a past cast member to tackle a brand-new role — albeit one who already has some significant history on the show.
