It’s been nearly a year since General Hospital’s longtime Molly, Haley Pullos, was involved in a devastating car crash. Since that accident last May, Molly’s been recast a number of times (she’s currently being played by Kristen Vaganos) and Pullos has been charged with one felony count of DUI causing injury, one felony count of driving with a blood alcohol content reading of .08 or higher, and one count of hit-and-run, a misdemeanor of hit-and-run from allegedly hitting a parked car.

Police allegedly found edible marijuana wrappers and mini bottles of tequila in the car and say Pullos smelled of alcohol and was slurring her speech.

Though she’d originally pleaded not guilty, according to the Daily Mail, Pullos and her lawyers are currently looking into negotiating a deal. Right now, she’s facing up to three years in prison, but pleading guilty could potentially reduce that to a lesser sentence, suspended sentence or even house arrest.

In addition to the charges, the driver of the other car, Courtney Wilder, has also filed a lawsuit against Pullos after the actress allegedly swerved into oncoming traffic on a Pasadena freeway. You can see how grave the crash was in photos from the Pasadena Fire Department below.

Judge Terry Smerling is overseeing the case and has set another hearing for April 8. That should be the last one, but reportedly, if no deal is reached by then, Pullos will be on to a full trial, which could lead to the maximum sentence.

Though General Hospital had originally temporarily recast Molly, that’s since changed to a permanent recast — though they’ve struggled a bit to find the right actress. Vaganos is the third to take over after Pullos’ 11-year run ended last May, but she’s been in the role since September of last year, so it looks like we may finally be settled.
