The Young and the Restless Preview: Week of April 29 – Jordan’s Doll Contains a Claire Clue – Nikki’s Drunken Disaster
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview video for the week of April 29-May 3 reveals that Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) will show up to help tackle Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) mental issues, but “Belle” will have other plans.
Since “Belle” will think Ashley needs a new guy to help her forget all about Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), she’ll flirt with Alan and try to get some sparks flying.
Of course, that’ll leave Alan unsettled and eager to remind Ashley that they’re friends – just like they were in Paris.
“But there’s an agenda,” “Belle” replies in Y&R’s weekly preview video.
Perhaps “Belle” will acknowledge that Alan came because of Traci Abbott’s (Beth Maitland) concerns, but she’ll act like her sister’s overreacting.
That said, “Belle” will assure Alan that she’s quite glad to see him and will hope this could be the start of a sizzling new romance.
At some point, Alan will hopefully be able to speak with the real Ashley and confirm that she indeed has dissociative identity disorder.
This should lead to Ashley finally getting the treatment she needs.
Over with Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), they’ll uncover a clue that could lead to Claire Grace’s (Hayley Erin) whereabouts.
Y&R’s weekly preview clip shows Victoria and Cole with a doll that Jordan (Colleen Zenk) apparently left behind at her motel hideout.
There’ll be something inside, so Cole and Victoria will open the doll from the back.
Whatever’s in there will hopefully connect some dots and set the stage for Claire’s safe return home.
At the GCAC, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will have a drunken meltdown that leaves a suite in absolute shambles.
Once Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) finally convinces Nikki to let him inside, he’ll see the disaster area for himself and ask what happened.
Maybe Nikki just won’t be able to cope with the guilt of Claire potentially being gone forever. Nikki’s plastered outburst may be the result of growing fears about Victoria losing her daughter all over again.
Naturally, Jack will do his best to reassure Nikki and lift her out of this pit of despair. Based on all the doll developments we mentioned, Nikki should get updates on some good news in the not-too-distant future.
