Solar Eclipse Programming Note

The network is covering the solar eclipse. In the past, the Monday morning preview clips usually don’t come out if the soap isn’t airing. So, it was a welcome surprise when a preview clip was released anyway! So, let’s get started discussing what’s coming up in Port Charles.
GH Spoilers: Jason Morgan vs Sonny Corinthos
During the week of April 8, fans can expect Jason to corner Sonny. A very concerned Jason asks Sonny if he is taking his bipolar medication.
Sonny doesn’t take the questioning very well, especially since it’s coming from Jason.
Fans know that Sonny is taking his medication as prescribed. The problem is that Sonny’s pills have been intentionally switched with placebos.
Judging by actor Maurice Benard’s hints and interviews about the storyline, things are about to get a lot more intense!
Carly Spencer’s Heroics
General Hospital spoilers for the week of April 8 reveal that Carly will jump into action to save the day.
As fans watched in a previously released preview clip, Carly is driving in her car when she spots a man in trouble. Carly rolls down her window and yells “leave him alone.”
In this new GH Preview, Carly rushes over to a man on the ground. When Carly turns the man so she can see his face, it’s none other than John!
It appears that John has been badly beaten.
However, we also know that hints have been dropped that Carly and John could have a different kind of dynamic moving forward, possibly romantic.
So, John probably has a sob story that will tug on Carly’s heartstrings… and might even form an unexpected romance.

Fans will also see Anna and Valentin sit down for a meal together. When Valentin wants to know why Anna requested a meeting, the controversial police commissioner doesn’t waste any time asking for help on a case.
When Valentin say he’ll always help her and asks ‘what’s the case,’ Anna drops a bombshell by telling him, ‘Pikeman.’ Valentin looks grim!
