The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) has been tangled up in a situation filled with messy emotions. Despite Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) horrible past and all the drama she’s caused for his family, Finn can’t help but feel a sense of loss now that she’s gone.
Of course, things are complicated since Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) took Sheila out in self-defense.
Steffy doesn’t understand Finn’s feelings toward Sheila, so this could lead to more trouble in their marriage.
In a new interview with TV Insider, Tanner Novlan opened up about Finn and Steffy’s issues in the aftermath of Sheila’s demise.
For starters, Novlan talked about how refreshing it was that Steffy and Finn didn’t just immediately split when things got tougher.
Although Novlan praised the writers for taking this deep dive into Finn and Steffy’s relationship, he seems to understand there are sometimes limits to what soap couples can bear.
“Let’s see how far it can be tested,” Novlan said about Steffy and Finn’s marriage.
It’s clear that this love story is getting more complex all the time, so it’ll definitely be interesting to see how much Finn and Steffy’s bond can withstand.
That’s especially true since Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) always seems to be lurking – just waiting for his chance to pounce on Steffy when the time is right.
Novlan addressed that possibility as well since he discussed “Liam’s manipulative playbook” and joked about Liam’s tendency to “play Captain ‘Save-a-Gal’” whenever there’s a vulnerable woman involved.
B&B fans certainly haven’t forgotten about the kisses Liam planted on Steffy in Italy and once they returned home to Los Angeles soon after.
Novlan acknowledged that Finn still isn’t in the loop on those lip locks, but he added that Finn doesn’t want Steffy pulled back into Liam’s orbit since “it’s an unhealthy relationship.”
Nevertheless, soaps push unhealthy relationships all the time, so viewers will be eager to find out what happens moving forward.
