The Young and the Restless Recap Monday, April 1 – Jordan’s Male Disguise – Claire’s Disappearance Panics Victoria

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, April 1, reveals that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will fill Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) in on his run-in with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), who claimed to be concerned over Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) erratic behavior.

After Jack exits, Ashley will find Traci looking pensive, so Traci will discuss Tucker’s concerns about her mental health.

Ashley will eventually claim she wants Tucker to think she’s crazy as part of a plan to take away his empire.

Traci will push for details and express skepticism over that plan working, but Ashley will insist it’s going to be perfect before rushing out.

Once Jack meets up with Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) at the GCAC, they’ll discuss what they assume are Tucker’s mind games.

Diane will also pitch the possibility of trading jobs with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), but Jack will shut down the idea.

Meanwhile, Tucker will make a pitch of his own to Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) since he’ll refuse to lose her.

After Tucker insists Ashley’s problems are hers and her family’s, he’ll assure Audra of his love and give her a kiss.

Audra will cave and admit she loves Tucker too, so they’ll head upstairs to Tucker’s suite.

Ashley will be waiting inside with news about making the appointment she talked to Tucker about.

Tucker will insist that’s all he wanted and will make it clear that Ashley should go now.

Audra and Ashley will bicker before things almost turn physical, but Tucker will hold Audra back and order Ashley out.

In the corridor, the real Ashley will break through and express confusion over where she is.

Ashley won’t know how she made it to the club and will seem terrified over what’s happening to her.

At the ranch, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will give Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) updates on Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) OCD and the residential treatment program he’s being placed in.

Victor will offer the Newman jet for the Maryland trip, so Adam will admit Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) already made the arrangements.

Although Adam will worry that Connor’s issues might be his fault, Victor will express how proud he is of the father Adam’s become.

When Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) arrives, she’ll express concern over Claire Grace’s (Hayley Erin) disappearance from the ranch.

Adam will act like maybe Claire left to go team up with Jordan (Colleen Zenk), so Victoria will snap at him for wanting acceptance for himself and not giving it to Claire.

After Adam apologizes and shares what Connor’s going through, Victoria will have some sympathy and offer to help if there’s anything she can do.

Victor will eventually hear from his security team that Claire left the premises to go get coffee.

Claire will indeed get a mocha latte at Crimson Lights, where she’ll run into Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and meet Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman).

When Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) arrives, she’ll seem standoffish and will act like she’s in a hurry.

Claire will realize Summer must know the whole truth, so Summer will admit she’s having a hard time wrapping her head around what Claire did to their family.

Summer will also question why Claire thinks she’d ever be qualified to work with children.

After Claire explains how she was stolen and manipulated, she’ll insist she went to therapy and that she’s trying to build a new life for herself.

Claire will hope she can prove she’s changed and have a real relationship with Summer as cousins one day.

Once Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) arrives, Summer will introduce him to Claire as they chat briefly.

Claire will get a text from Victoria and realize she’d better go relieve her mom’s worries at home.

After Jordan checks in a seedy motel, she’ll hint about the Newmans’ reckoning before donning an elaborate male disguise.

That’ll allow Jordan to spy on Claire as she’s leaving Crimson Lights.

As for Summer, she’ll talk to Chance about Claire previously plotting with Jordan against the Newmans.

Summer will explain that Claire got mental health treatment instead of prison, but she’ll acknowledge that Claire’s proven she’s a good actress.

Summer won’t know what to believe, but she’ll have trouble buying that Claire went from homicidal to normal within a couple months. It’ll leave Summer unwilling to trust Claire yet.

Once Claire makes it back to the ranch, Victoria, Victor and Adam will scold her for going out alone without telling anyone.

Claire will wonder why Adam cares, but he’ll point out that people were worried.

Although Claire will refuse to let Jordan scare her into hiding from the world, she’ll promise not to take off like that again.

When Michael shows up, he’ll insist there’s a possible lead since someone using the name “Eve Howard” purchased a train ticket from Chicago to Houston.

Michael will suggest Jordan could be on the run, but Victor will counter that maybe that’s what she wants them to think.

There’ll be no way for Michael to know for sure until he follows up on the lead.

After Adam leaves on Friday’s Y&R episode, Claire will find out about Connor’s OCD and show compassion.

Victoria will hope that Connor encounters people as sympathetic as Claire in his new program.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say vengeful Jordan will continue scheming, so we’ll bring you more predictions on the drama she’s about to unleash.
