Exclusive: As Steffy and Hope Wage War, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood Previews the Ultimate Revenge — and Just ‘Imagine the Fallout!’

Brace yourselves, because the long-simmering feud between The Bold and the Beautiful‘s Steffy and Hope is about to boil over. For months, Steffy has been warning that Hope would ultimately break Thomas’ heart, and now that her prediction has come to pass… well, let’s just say that things ain’t gonna be pretty!

“Steffy is beyond angry at Hope for leading Thomas on and making him think he had a chance with her,” Jacqueline MacInnes Wood tells us. “I mean, how dare she? Steffy called it! And she’s going to let Hope, and anyone else who will listen, know how she feels about Hope breaking Thomas’ heart!”

It goes without saying there’s no love lost between Hope and Steffy, a situation which far predates the blonde’s involvement with Thomas or even the fact that their respective moms spent decades fighting over Ridge. “The Logan women,” sums up Wood, in character, “are always up to absolutely no good!”

The fact that these women have to deal with one another at work lends a whole new dynamic to the situation. Then again, Steffy is the co-CEO, alongside dad Ridge, which means she exerts a certain power over her rival. “Are you asking if Steffy would like to fire Hope?” muses Wood. “Absolutely! But that is entirely up to [headwriter] Brad Bell and his writing team. Imagine the fallout of Steffy firing Brooke’s daughter!”

Ironically, Steffy’s fury would no doubt be doubled if she realized just how much time Hope’s been spending with Finn in the aftermath of Sheila’s death.

To a certain degree, Hope has found herself in a no-win situation. Had she accepted Thomas’ proposal, it’s unlikely Steffy would have welcomed her to the family with a big ol’ hug. Yet by doing what is arguably the sensible thing and admitting she’s not quite ready to become Mrs. Thomas Forrester, she’s only infuriated his kin!

Given everything else going on in her life, Steffy no doubt relishes the chance to let off a little steam by unleashing her anger upon Hope! As for Wood, she admits that she and scene partner Annika Noelle are a blast to tape. “The feud stuff with Hope is great fun for Annika and me,” she shares. “We really get into character and go for it!”
