Bold & Beautiful Casts a *Very* Familiar Face in a Role That Promises to Shed New Light on Sheila’s ‘Death’

Things are going to take a mysterious turn toward the end of April when a new character turns up on the canvas. Our sister site, Deadline, has learned exclusively that Clint Howard (pictured below on the left), brother to Ron Howard, has been cast on The Bold and the Beautiful as Tom, a homeless man, who will be able to shed light on a mystery when he turns over crucial information.

The actor arrived at the CBS Studios today, Monday, March 18, to begin taping scenes and fans can look for him to appear on Friday, April 26, as well as on Monday, April 29.

So, what storyline will Tom fit into? Though those details are being kept hush hush, let’s have some fun and speculate…

Every since Steffy stabbed and killed Sheila, many of us have been asking ourselves, “Is Sheila really dead?” Well, we’ve already covered a few speculation articles, one wondering why someone hasn’t counted the dead woman’s toes yet. Sure, when a character dies in front of witnesses, it usually means, yep, they’re dead. But this is Sheila we’re talking about and those she’s terrorized over the years know that she’s not only faked her death before but she had surgery to make herself look like someone else. So, who’s to say that the dead woman wasn’t someone made to look like Sheila?

Tom could be the key to finding Sheila very much alive and well, if she really is out there, what better place to hide than among the homeless, where no one would think to look for her.

No matter what drama Howard’s character will be dragged into, it’ll be very cool to have the Hollywood actor guest starring in daytime!
