The Young and the Restless’ Joshua Morrow Wants a Nick & Steffy Romance for Bold and the Beautiful Crossover
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) tends to get tangled up in some messy storylines, especially ones that involve women with torn hearts.
However, it turns out Joshua Morrow has a new story in mind – and it doesn’t involve someone who lives in Genoa City!
In an interview with Soaps.com, Morrow was asked what plot twist he hadn’t played yet that he’d still like to.
It turns out Morrow would like a crossover love triangle that involves a popular Bold and the Beautiful character.
Morrow insisted that it’d “be pretty awesome if we connected the two shows with a pairing that was messy and in a triangle.”
As for who Morrow would like to work with, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester on B&B) was his first choice
“She’s a very beautiful woman and obviously very, very talented,” Morrow insisted.
Since Morrow feels like any man in his position would want to work with Wood, he’s rooting for a Nick and Steffy storyline someday.
The timing of Morrow’s suggestion is interesting since Steffy’s marriage problems seem poised to get worse.
Steffy is currently committed to John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan), but could a handsome Newman from GC catch her eye?
If Nick comes to down on business and sparks fly with Steffy, maybe that could set the stage for the love triangle Morrow’s craving.
Of course, we should point out that Morrow’s real-life son, Crew Morrow, has been cast in the role of Will Spencer and will be making his B&B debut later this summer.
It might be interesting if the writers could come up with an excuse for Nick and Will to cross paths as well – like if Nick had a meeting at Spencer Publications and ran into Will there.
There could be multiple reasons for Joshua Morrow to cross over to The Bold and the Beautiful, so let’s hope they can work something out with Y&R and make it happen.
It’s always fun when we get some crossover news, so maybe Nick will be next in line for a B&B storyline.
