Y&R spoilers suggest that despite most of the Newman family accepting Claire with open arms, she has a few haters.
Mainly Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) doesn’t trust her and resents Claire’s role in what happened at the lake house in November, and Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri) is having a hard time accepting her older sister.
Summer is trying to move past her reservations but hasn’t gotten to a good spot with Claire. Meanwhile, Katie just met her older sister and has rejected any idea of trying to bond with her.
Then there is Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). Claire and Audra haven’t been formally introduced recently, but they worked together at Newman.
Still. as Ms. Charles is set to start working with Claire’s love interest, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) at Glissade there could be animosity between them.
After all, Audra won’t only be Kyle’s co-CEO partner at Glissade, but their past steamy affair could create tension between her and Claire.

Y&R spoilers note that Claire was a manipulative and dark person before. She tricked Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) into believing she was sweet and gained her trust but Claire eventually turned on Nikki.
When the truth came out about what Jordan did, Claire swiftly apologized to her biological grandmother, and the two have been on very good terms since.
Having said that, Katie and Summer’s animosity could trigger something in Claire. She is desperately looking for approval, and the two people she wanted to bond with the most have turned their backs on her. Could this cause a darker side to emerge?
Will Claire (at some point) lash out at them, or possibly channel this energy toward Audra, out of pure jealousy? Kyle is very smitten with Claire.
However, Audra has an air of sensuality that Kyle has always been drawn to. Will Claire strike back at Ms. Charles because of her insecurities?
