Days of Our Lives Comings and Goings: Cherie Jimenez Debuts As Gabi, First Airdate Inside

Stefan’s days of angst are finally over on the Peacock soap! Days of Our Lives Comings and Goings reveal that he is about to reunite with his wife Gabi Hernandez DiMera in the upcoming week! However, as we reported earlier, there is a twist to Gabi’s comeback. She has been recast! The beautiful Cherie Jimenez has now taken over the role!

The Days newbie enthusiastically announced her debut on her social media account. “WOW  My heart is filled with immense gratitude over the opportunity of a lifetime. I am GABI HERNANDEZ DIMERA on the iconic DAYS OF OUR LIVES  ,” Cherie wrote. She will make her debut in the June 27, 2024, episode. So don’t forget to tune in for it!

Furthermore, in her caption, Cherie gushed that she had a great time filming and it has been an absolute dream working for Days. She divulged that she has been worked really hard in the past 7 months and is really excited to share it with the world. ” I get to work with the most phenomenal & hardworking cast and crew I’ve ever had the honor to work alongside.”

But that’s not all! In true soap fashion, Cherie Jimenez saved the most dramatic bit for the last! The actress admitted that ions ago when she was 22, an opening for Gabi’s role had come, but she did not get the part. ” Now 15 years later at 36 years old, the universe told me I was now ready to step into this role…Thank you  …I am just beginning,” she gushed!

Woah! if this is not kismet, we don’t know what is! We are absolutely thrilled, and looking forward to making her dramatic debut as Gabi.
