The Young and the Restless: Y&R’s Michelle Stafford Injures Foot, What Went Wrong?

The Young and the Restless-Michelle Stafford

It seems like The Young and the Restless star Michelle Stafford, aka Phyllis, has had an accident over the weekend. The soap diva took to Instagram to share a clip of herself dancing on one leg. She asked her followers, “Who wants a bloodhound…?” And get this: the centre of attraction wasn’t her cute green sundress or the fact that she was barefoot. It was the fracture boot on her left foot in which she struggled a bit to walk. So, what had happened? Find out!

The Young and the Restless: What Happened to Michelle Stafford?

The Y&R luminary didn’t dive deep into describing the mishap, but it sounds like her dog, Rufus is behind it. Nobody knows the struggle of tripping over their pets better than dog owners. It is because the four-legged munchkins usually love to be right in the middle of everything, often ending up underfoot. Is that what happened to Stafford? Moreover, viewers and fans of the CBS soap weren’t the only ones scratching their heads over this little accident.

General Hospital’s Finola Hughes (Anna) also asked, “What happened?” Plus, some fans even joked about Christine running over Phyllis or if she got hurt chasing Danny’s tour bus. They did make sense since Stafford was smiling and doing her little dance in the video. The following day, Michelle posted another video with the hashtag “just a sprained ankle.” In the clip, she showed the struggle behind taking a bath when you suffer such an injury.

To prepare her foot for a shower, Stafford covered her ankle with a plastic bag and taped its mouth. The little hack would save her injury from coming in contact with water. It worked for the Y&R star, as she revealed later in the video. Last November, the Phyllis actress shared a funny video of Rufus staring at her through a window. She joked, “Can I just have one [bleeping] minute to myself, please?”

In another adorable moment, Stafford was seen hugging the family’s bloodhound with her kids, Natalia and Jameson, close by. So clearly, Rufus loves being with his family, and they love him too! Even if it means a few accidents here and there. Here’s hoping Michelle feels better soon.
