Crew Morrow, son of Joshua Morrow (Y&R’s Nick Newman) and his wife Tobe, is stepping into the role of Will Spencer. The actor is joining the CBS soap as a recast on a contract basis. Crew Morrow will take on the role of Katie’s son, played by Heather Tom, who used to star in another fan-favorite soap. Yep, we’re talking about Y&R, in which she portrayed Victoria Newman, Joshua Morrow’s on-screen sister. According to Deadline, Crew started filming his scenes for B&B on June 14. So, don’t forget to catch his debut as Will on the July 1st episode of the CBS daytime drama.
It looks like our beloved soap is gearing up its summer teen storylines. On top of this, Will now even has a half-sister, Luna (played by Lisa Yamada). Anyway, Morrow is the third actor to play Will after Heather’s son Zane Achor (2013-2018) and Finnegan George (last seen in 2020). Moreover, Crew’s IMDb profile says his upcoming role is his third acting credit. The actor previously appeared in Continental Split and Healing Towers.
Meanwhile, keep an eye on Jamison Belushi, who’s making a one-day guest appearance on B&B as April. You can catch Jamison playing a lab technician on the June 17 episode. Additionally, her character plays a crucial role in working with Dr. Li Finnegan and Dr. John’ Finn’ Finnegan in a summer mystery.
