Sheila’s Lookalike Swap – Blast-from-the-Past Character ‘Sugar’ Died Instead?
The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) was seemingly pronounced dead after one last faceoff with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), but things aren’t always as they seem on the CBS soap.
The show has consistently found ways to keep Sheila around, so why would they end her reign of terror so abruptly and with such finality?
If they really wanted to write Sheila out, they probably would’ve just blown her up in a fire somewhere and had her presumed dead – paving the way for her to return somewhere down the line.
Something tells us this isn’t an exit story at all – no matter what B&B and even Kimberlin Brown might have you believe with her interviews and social media comments!
Everyone thought John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) was gone forever when he was “killed off,” but there was some deception going on since Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) secretly nursed him back to health.
In this case, we’d say the deception is that Sheila wasn’t even in the cliff house at the time of her apparent demise.
Sheila has been pulling off disappearing acts lately and meeting with someone from her history, so what if that person was Sugar (originally played by Robin Mattsson), the former prison warden who’s been known to be in cahoots with Sheila over the years?
Sugar was sort of a frenemy for Sheila since things turned contentious after she duped Sugar into having plastic surgery to look just like her.
The lookalike drama shook things up on The Young and the Restless back in the 2000s and is obviously something that could work for the story on B&B now.
Was Sugar the one who lost that showdown with Steffy and paid with her life?
It’s possible Sheila got back on Sugar’s good side and had an alliance with her that ended horribly – at least for Sugar!
It’s also possible Sugar was still out for revenge on Sheila if she was trying to take Steffy out and frame Sheila for the crime, but that might’ve been tough to do without a witness.
It seems more likely Sheila and Sugar’s partnership ended with the latter’s grisly end, so now Sheila has a chance to take advantage of her faked death however she sees fit.
There’s no guarantee that’s what the show will reveal, but it certainly seems like things are headed in that direction.
