The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, June 17 – Johnny & Katie Meet Claire, Victoria’s Awkward Introduction
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, June 17, reveal that some big returns are brewing on the CBS soap. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) has been talking about Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) and Katie Abbott’s (Sienna Mercuri) homecoming, but it’s finally happening.
It looks like Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) will meet her younger siblings on Monday’s episode or at least early during the week of June 17-21.
Victoria will beam with pride as she invites Katie and Johnny to meet their sister, but how will they really feel about Claire?
Johnny has learned to roll with pretty much whatever at this point.
After all the drama of learning Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is his bio mom and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) is his half-brother, Johnny may be fine with the latest family addition.
It could be different for Katie, who apparently has more of a firecracker personality and may be on edge in Claire’s presence.
Katie might feel a bit threatened by Claire since she’s not Victoria’s only daughter anymore.
It’s also possible Katie has done some digging and knows about some of Claire’s criminal behavior.
Katie might blame Claire for hurting Grandma Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), so that could be another reason for her to express concern.
Regardless, Claire is used to kids adoring her right away, but that may not be the case here. Johnny will probably be cordial enough, but it’ll be interesting if Katie gives Claire an attitude and essentially rejects her.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will be at the tack house when this first Claire meeting goes down, so he may help Victoria handle any family issues that might arise.
Other Y&R spoilers say Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will summon Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) for a conversation in the park, so he’ll be pleased when she actually shows up ready to listen.
Despite the tension that resulted when Daniel cheated and ultimately went back to Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom), Lily will agree to a meeting and will hope he doesn’t make her regret it.
Daniel and Lily have discussed the possibility of compromise that would help them avoid a lawsuit, so this could be their chance to get a firmer plan in place.
Our predictions hint that Lily and Daniel may manage to resolve this, so that could put a lackluster storyline to rest and allow them both to move on with their lives.
Of course, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily will still have Billy problems to contend with, so we’ll bring you updates on any troubling news that might be on the horizon.
