The Days of Our Lives Return That Could Bring About Abigail’s Return… or Thwart It!

You know things are getting serious now that we know Abigail is alive on Days of Our Lives. Well, now that Clyde claims she’s alive. We don’t trust that snake any more than we trusted Konstantin, but the possibility that she’s still out there somewhere is too tantalizing to just ignore. Then there are the returns that have got to be connected to Abigail’s resurrection.

First, we learned Casey Moss is returning as little brother JJ and now we’ve gotten word that her dad, Jack is back! Matthew Ashford is set to bring him back to town, according to spoilers, next Tuesday, June 18. We haven’t seen Jack since Xander and Gwen chased him and Jennifer out of town by blackmailing The Spectator away from them.

And the timing of this latest return is no coincidence, as it definitely is connected to Abigail — though not in the way we might think!

Because according to Soap Opera Digest, Chad and Julie will be teaming up to track down Abigail after Clyde drops a few hints about how to find her. The problem is, spoilers have Jack getting in the way of the two of them, rather than helping!

And that opens up a whole new can of worms. Does Jack know something Julie and Chad don’t about his presumed dead daughter? Or is he just unwilling to get his hopes up and entertain the idea that she could be alive? Heck, there’s always the chance that Chad and Julie just don’t want to say anything to him until they know for sure what’s going on, and his arrival makes it tough for them to investigate.

One way or another, though, we can’t see Jack getting in the way for long. And we can’t shake the feeling that his return means we’ll be finding out the truth about Clyde’s claims sooner, rather than later. All we can say is: Bring it on!
