So when Carter asks Katie what is going on that renders her so distracted, she tells him. Bold and Beautiful fans waited for Carter Walton to look a bit worried, as it sounds like Katie yearns for Bill. But he didn’t look a bit concerned.
This was an odd turn of events for many viewers this week. They became confused to see the guy they thought was her boyfriend so understanding when she moaned over her ex.
Carter Walton listened intently to the woman, Bold and the Beautiful fans thought was his girlfriend, go on about her ex. Still, not a facial grimace from Carter to hint this was a bit uncomfortable for him.
Instead, he acted like a concerned friend, even asking Katie how she felt about Bill’s new girlfriend. Fans waited to see how far this would go before Carter Walton showed some distress himself. But nothing but smiles graced Carter Walton’s face.

Bold and the Beautiful could have put some time into this breakup. They didn’t make their parting of ways look ugly with a betrayal. They didn’t even show a cordial conversation between Katie and Carter hashing over the reasons they should part ways.
Instead, Bold and the Beautiful fans see this as a lazy way to wipe out a relationship. Maybe they didn’t want to tarnish Katie Logan for hurting Carter in a betrayal with Bill. So, they set her free in a sentence.
They likely needed Katie Logan single to go after Bill, now that he’s in love with someone else. So, her relationship was wiped off the table with a few words. But fans are not happy with the way this was handled by the CBS soap.
