GH posted a photo on their social media channels of Hilton, next to a camera with the following caption, “Breaking News: a very inquisitive guest swung by Port Charles today. (smiley-face emoji with star eyes).
We can’t wait for you to see what @ThePerezHilton has in store for #GeneralHospital. Stay tuned! #GH”
While the sometimes-controversial Hilton is famous for his online celebrity content, he’s also graced television screens now and again, and is no stranger to the land of soaps.
He made his daytime drama debut on the Bold and the Beautiful, playing a priest who officiated the wedding between Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer), in 2016.
GH Spoilers: Why Will Perez Hilton Be In Port Charles?
As of this writing, it’s unclear what kind of role Perez Hilton will be playing on GH, who he’ll be working with, and what storyline he’ll be involved in as the show is keeping his guest-starring role under wraps.
Still, considering his splashy nature, will he and Lynn Herring (Lucy Coe) share some scenes? Will his storyline center around Deception? Is he a long-lost Quartermaine that fans don’t know about?
Maybe his character will be a part of the Pikeman saga? Will he have dialogue with Rena Sofer’s character, Lois Cerullo, as the two had worked together on Bold?
Then again, Hilton could simply play himself. Fans will have to tune in to find out! Either way, viewers should expect to see Hilton grace GH screens sometime in the summer, that is, if his filming began this week. An airdate has yet to be announced.
