Ding dong, Days of Our Lives’ Konstantin is dead! The Kiriakis family is finally free of him (if not the repercussions) and hopefully they can start getting back to normal soon. Well, as normal as they get. Because there’s clearly still plenty of tension between Xander and the rest of his family, and we can only imagine that’s going to get worse once the truth comes out that he’s Victor’s son!

Once that’s all dealt with, though, maybe Xander and Maggie can whip Titan into shape and the Kiriakis family can stop fighting with each other and start fighting with the real enemy: the DiMeras! OK, so the two families don’t have to be at each other’s throats, but they’ve got plenty of bad blood between them.

And apparently, that extends to real-life too! In a very tongue-in-cheek way, at least. When Soaps.com spoke with Robert Scott Wilson (Alex), Suzanne Rogers (Maggie) and Paul Telfer (Xander) on the Daytime Emmy Awards Red Carpet, we asked some of the tough questions. Ones like: What daytime era would you love to revisit? What primetime show would you want to drop your character into? Like we said, the tough questions

Xander explains to Maggie and Sarah Days of our Lives

Look at how light and airy that old Kiriakis mansion set was!

When asked what the best place to take a nap onset was, though, Rogers jumped in before the fellas could answer. “The DiMera mansion!” she exclaimed without hesitation. “Because we didn’t get it!”

“We’re very jealous of the DiMera set,” Telfer agreed, as Rogers explained that, “We had a nice set and they took it away from us!”

“It’s not one of our favorite sets,” Telfer gamely explained of the Kiriakis study before saying he’d pick the Horton sofa. After all, that’s where Xander slept when he was homeless. And apparently anything’s better than the Kiriakis sofa!

It was all in good fun, of course, which you can see for yourself by checking out the entire video below. These three are a blast together!

But hey, we think we’ve got a solution to their problem. All they need to do is convince the writers to start a DiMera/Kiriakis war, where the Kiriakises come out on top, kick the DiMeras out of their mansion and move the Kiriakis family in! Everybody’s happy! Well, everyone whose name isn’t DiMera… And we have a feeling the family’s portrayers might be a bit nonplussed to be kicked out of their clearly superior set.

Maybe this isn’t the best idea. But we’d still love for the DiMeras and Kiriakises to go after each other again some day, rather than fighting amongst themselves. At best, though, we don’t see that happening until after Victor’s heir is sorted and Kristen, Stefan and EJ wrap up their latest fight for the DiMera CEO seat. In other words, we’ve got a ways to go!
