General Hospital: Perez Hilton Joins GH as Special Guest Star – Gossip Leak and Major Port Charles Drama
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that a special guest star is set to make an appearance on the ABC soap. It turns out Perez Hilton will get involved in some new drama, so let’s look at a big announcement that was made on social media.
“Breaking News: A very inquisitive guest swung by Port Charles today,” the GH account revealed on X, formerly known as Twitter. “We can’t wait for you to see what @ThePerezHilton has in store for #GeneralHospital. Stay tuned!”
The show obviously didn’t divulge the details of Hilton’s upcoming stint or what storyline he’ll be part of, but we can guess what this is about since he’s a real-life gossip blogger and media personality among other things.
It seems likely Hilton will cover some fictional gossip once he pops up, so this could involve Natalia Ramirez’s (Eva LaRue) worst fear coming true.
Natalia has been nervous about the possibility of Blaze aka Allison “Allie” Rogers’ (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) relationship with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) going public, especially because she feels like people will make assumptions about the baby.
It may not be long until the news about Blaze’s sexuality leaks along with plenty of speculation about her girlfriend’s pregnancy situation.
Blaze is quite the rising star, so it’s surprising that it’s taken this long for info about her personal life to come out.
Of course, it’s possible there’ll be some other reason for Perez Hilton’s upcoming appearance, but it’ll inevitably tie in with some juicy gossip and controversy no matter what!
This isn’t the first time Hilton has appeared on a soap since he also played Reverend Murphy on The Bold and the Beautiful back in 2016.
B&B fans may recall that Hilton was on hand for a couple of episodes when Reverend Murphy officiated Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) and Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) wedding.
Now Rena Sofer is playing Lois Cerullo on GH – and Perez Hilton is hopping over to PC to play himself!
It’ll be interesting to see what updates Hilton shares with the gossip-hungry people of Port Charles and beyond.
