Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Could AnnaLynne McCord Be The New Nicole DiMera Recast?
Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers note that Arianne Zucker’s “days” are coming to a close. The actress has played Nicole Walker-DiMera for over 25 years; however, reports surfaced earlier in 2024 that she was leaving the show. As the soap films so far in advance, and the actress herself recently revealed her last appearance on the daytime drama was July 29, viewers know Ari will be wrapping things up shortly.
Zucker launched a lawsuit on the soap just after she left filming, with allegations of wrongful dismissal as well as sexual misconduct. It seems that Ari won’t be returning to the land of Salem, but could someone else take her place?
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – There’s A Buzz About AnnaLynne McCord’s Arrival
Days spoilers state that fans should brace themselves for a new arrival on the show. Reports in December 2023 revealed that actress AnnaLynne McCord was headed to the soap, signing a one-year contract.
The announcement, via Deadline, noted she’d be playing a character named “Marin”: a beautiful, fascinating, yet “complicated” woman, who is desired by many, but whose heart only belongs to one man – a man who is pushing her away for her own good.
When the news first hit, most fans took the announcement at face value, looking forward to meeting the new character.
However, as so many things have happened both onscreen and off since, viewers are now speculating if the soap is swerving them, and the actress will end up playing an existing character.
Days Spoilers – Is AnnaLynne McCord Stepping Into A Recast Role?
McCord is set to make her appearance soon, although no date has been confirmed. Meanwhile, Arianne Zucker is set to make her final appearance on July 29.
As fans speculate how Nicole will exit, they are also beginning to wonder if AnnaLynne could be the character’s recast. After all, depending on how Ari is written out of storylines, could Nicole suffer an accident where she develops memory loss?
Maybe she is found by someone outside of town and goes by the name “Marin”, but is really Nicole. AnnaLynne and Zucker have very similar features and based on looks, McCord could be a good recast.
Then again, some fans are speculating this same scenario, but with AnnaLynne stepping into Abigail DiMera’s (last played by Marci Miller) shoes. It seems like Abby could re-enter storylines too.
However, will the plot twist be memory loss or possibly another dissociative identity disorder (DID), which is why Abigail is going by the name, “Marin”?
