General Hospital spoilers tease that just a few months ago, Drew Cain (Cameron Matheson) hated Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) with every fiber of his being. And he had every reason for his feelings.
As viewers know, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Matheson) committed the crime of insider trading when Carly used her knowledge of potential merger between Aurora Media and ELQ to invest heavily in Aurora.
When Nina realized what Carly had done, she anonymously tipped off the SEC.
General Hospital Spoilers – Drew Cain went to prison!
Drew was arrested and was sentenced to several years in prison, although he was eventually released early. But while he was there, Drew was beaten to within an inch of his life.
Once he discovered that Nina was responsible for all his pain and suffering, Drew’s hate boiled over into almost an uncontrollable anger and need for revenge.
Drew fired Nina from Crimson Magazine, but later changed his mind when he realized that Nina was the reason the magazine was profitable. But it was clear his anger toward nearly hasn’t subsided,

Drew and Nina had several very heated arguments once she returned to Crimson. One of their battles led to Nina accidentally tearing Drew’s shirt, which he promptly took off.
At that moment something change, and their rage for one another turned to passion and they made love on Drew’s office floor. And they continued to sleep together, even though they could barely stand to be in the same room. They agreed to a mutually beneficial relationship.
Drew agreed to help Nina reunite with her estranged daughter Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). Meanwhile, Nina helped Drew meet an influential congressman who could help with the waterfront project Drew is working on.

The more time they spend with each other, the more clear it becomes that where there was once only hate and anger, now it’s been replaced with… something else.
Drew is genuinely pleased to see Nina and Willow reconnect. And for her part, Nina was moved to see Drew interacting with her grandson at the Metro Court pool.
Despite their initial feelings of hate, it seems that there is a romantic relationship brewing between them. Once their relationship becomes public, look for it to send shockwaves through Port Charles.
