General Hospital Spoilers: Drew & Jordan’s Romance Kicks Off – GH Fans React
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) may have jumped from one pairing right into another one. After Drew broke up with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) in the March 13 episode, he headed straight to the boxing gym to get out some of his frustration.
Of course, that’s where Drew ran into Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), so the two of them were able to connect and vent about some issues in their lives.
It certainly felt like a blatant chemistry test and a chance at a romantic fresh start for both characters.
GH fans have already been buzzing about the possibility of a Drew and Jordan pairing on social media, but it seems to be getting a mixed reaction.
There was a time when many viewers were actually rooting for Jordan and Drew to get together, but that was in the early days of Cameron Mathison’s run as a Drew recast – and a lot has changed since then.
Now that we’ve had a little taste of Jordan’s smoking hot chemistry with Zeke Robinson (Gavin Houston), the idea of her becoming a couple with Drew isn’t all that appealing.
That said, the show was previously teasing a Jordan and Brick (Stephen A. Smith) pairing, which got plenty of negative feedback on social media.
If Brick and Drew are the only options that are being offered, perhaps Drew is the better one.
It would at least be nice to see Jordan have an opportunity for a real love story. Jordan has gone far too long without a proper love interest, so the writers may be working to rectify that.
Tanisha Harper is a talented performer who deserves more material than just collaborating on police cases or doing work as the deputy mayor.
If Jordan and Drew get together like the show’s hinting at, then maybe it’ll open the door to some positive developments for both characters.
Jordan doesn’t have someone like Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) who’s going to come first in her heart, so Drew won’t have to feel like he’s second best.
Drew could also bring some new layers to Jordan’s world, so perhaps we should all keep open minds and see where this leads!
The latest predictions are pointing to a potential Jordan and Drew romance, so stay tuned for updates on whether they’ll fall in love and be able to make it last.
