Young and the Restless Comings & Goings: Sharon Sidelined Permanently & Nick Back to Sally?
In the latest Comings and Goings update for the popular CBS soap opera, The Young and The Restless, fans have noticed a significant decrease in screen time for Sharon Newman, portrayed by Sharon Case. CBS has yet to confirm if this is a permanent change.
Other casting updates include the extension of Christopher Cousins’ stint as Doctor Alan Laurent. Jessica Walton’s appearances as Jill Abbott are expected to be mostly via video calls for the foreseeable future. And Conner Floyd’s role as Chance Chancellor raises questions. Because he is rarely seen and his storyline lacks drama.
Fans have been hoping for a reunion of Sharon and Nick, but recent episodes hint at a possible pairing with Sally Spectra, played by Courtney Hope. The show seems to be testing various romantic combinations to boost ratings.
