The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victoria Sabotages Claire & Kyle’s Romance – Bold Move to Stop Blooming Love?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) may decide to take matters into her own hands and shut down Claire Grace’s (Hayley Erin) budding romance with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Of course, Kyle and Claire are just friends for now, but Victoria seemingly sees the potential for them to become more.
That’s undoubtedly why Victoria voiced concerns to Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) about Kyle’s romantic past in Y&R’s June 4 episode.
Victoria brought up Kyle’s divorce from Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), his old affair with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) and his most recent fling with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) as well.
It’s clear that Victoria isn’t a fan of Kyle’s romantic choices, so she’s probably worried about Claire becoming another mistake to add to the list.
Cole understood why Victoria was being a protective mom, but he thought it was good that Claire had found a friend.
Unfortunately, Victoria may not be able to handle it once that friendship inevitably veers into more romantic territory.
At that point, Victoria may intervene and do whatever she can to sabotage Claire’s blooming love story with Kyle.
It’s easy to imagine Victoria confronting Kyle and warning him that Claire’s recovery is still fragile.
Victoria might argue that Claire needs to be focusing on herself – not getting caught up in a messy romance with a man who happens to be her employer and her cousin’s ex-husband!
Perhaps Victoria will bring up Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) too and try to help Kyle see the damage this could do.
If things don’t work out between Kyle and Claire, it could lead to tension and affect her new role in Harrison’s life.
If Victoria can convince Kyle that his relationship with Claire would be a threat to her recovery AND Harrison’s happiness, it might change things.
Kyle could pump the brakes on any romance that’s developing by then and leave Claire confused.
If Victoria sabotages Claire’s chance at love and then her daughter finds out about it, our predictions suggest this could wreck their connection in a big way.
